I'm sure in one of Beth's posts, she had identified this said jewel on the late QM, HM's paternal grandmother.

I still wonder what is the origine of that pink sapphire/topaze brooch.
Maybe this picture is the earliest photo showing Her Majesty wearing it ? I would say it was taken in the 90s
.
