I am curious as to why it is said that the Countess of Strathmore borrowed a tiara for the 1937 Coronation from her daughter, Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother.
Is it simply based on the fact that other photos of her wearing a tiara are not circulating? Or is there some definite proof?
