History of Famous Jewels and Collections: Re: Mysteries I would like solved

There are so many mysteries and I would like to have all of them solved (of course)

But I know that will not happen, at least not in my life time. But one mystery is maybe closer to my heart than the others and that is the alleged emeralds of Queen Maud of Norway. It has been a subject in our jewel community already (see for instance a discussion on the Royal Jewels of the World Message Board in January´18: https://members2.boardhost.com/royal-jewels/msg/1516972763.html) but without any conclusion I feel (as we do not have for instance any photographic evidence). Still there are so many sources mentioning her emeralds that there must be something in it. Recently I was looking for information on a State Visit during the early reign of King Haakon and again it was mentioned that Queen Maud wore emeralds - this time in a tiara.

I have been thinkIng of the many mysteries we have in our bejewelled world the ones I would like solved most are:-

1. List of the Greville inheritance...complete.
2. Origin of Queen Elizabeth pink stone brooch and
confirmation of the stone.
3. Origin of camillas large orange and diamond
brooch.

The later two items are two of my favourite brooches.
