A great list 992234177!
Can I say, I appreciated how you distinguished between tiaras which Queen Mary dismantled and reused the gemstones. That really helped me.
Apologies for such a late reply 992234177 (and everyone). I have had a few busy days.
Other tiaras which I think Queen Mary had.
Perhaps these are not all strictly speaking tiaras, and I should simply say head jewels. (I am excluding photos where it seems that Queen Mary is wearing a single brooch as a head jewel)
1. An aigrette on a base -- years ago posters on the RJWMB identified this as a ruby jewel.
From a different angle.
2. Another head jewel photographed in Melbourne, Australia 1901.
Arthur from the RJWMB worked out that the base was the same as the jewel holding the aigrette seen above. I think he also identified the brooch, but I can no longer remember or find the thread.
3. I have always believed that the head jewel seen in the painting below is not part of the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara -- but others disagree.
