It's certainly very puzzling especially given the number of similar documentaries that have aired since, not the least of which is the one about the Coronation that she actively participated in just recently.

Lastly, if the Queen wanted this film shut down it could be because at times listening to one's own voice and or viewing ones' self can become irritating and bring about some feeling of embarrassment, and I am sure the Queen must have been ashamed or felt some kind of disdain of herself for using such derogatory terms or words at the dining table to maybe describe someone or something.
