In the "infamous" documentary that was made available on the net not that long ago included some footage from the Diplomatic Reception in 1968. What a great gathering! And to think that this has taken place every year without the public being able to relish in the grandeur and the glittering jewels...
The Queen is seen wearing a brooch at the back to fasten the Sash of the Garter. Due to the quality of the film I have not been able to identify the brooch. Has anybody any idea as to what brooch it could be?
