Very interesting! So nice that we have sources like Charles Villiers here.
The interest of jewellery lovers was piqued in 2018 when Sotheby's auctioned an impressive emerald bracelet which had been given to Edith, Marchioness of Londonderry by Laura Corrigan.
To refresh our memories below is Sotheby's photo of the bracelet. https://www.sothebys.com/en/auctions/ecatalogue/2018/magnificent-jewels-and-noble-jewels-ge1802/lot.320.html?locale=en
Charles Villiers has very generously forwarded a couple of photos of the jewel being worn by Edith, Marchioness of Londonderry and her daughter, Lady Mari Bury. In addition Charles has supplied some previously unknown information.
As we know, Edith, Marchioness of Londonderry wore the bracelet to the Opening of Parliament in 1954.

The Marchioness was also photographed wearing the bracelet at a charity function in 1954.
Sotheby's noted in its auction material that the central section of the bracelet could also be worn as a brooch. https://www.sothebys.com/en/auctions/ecatalogue/2018/magnificent-jewels-and-noble-jewels-ge1802/lot.320.html?locale=en
Charles Villiers says that Lady Mari Bury always wore the jewel as a brooch, and kindly supplied a photo of her wearing it for her 1979/1980 New Years dinner party.
