Once owned by Crown Princess Margaret of Sweden and now worn by her descendants is one of my favourite pieces of 'modern' style revival jewellery.
I was quite fascinated and pleased to see a similar styled version available for purchase in the United States. As Europe was Egypt crazy at the time, it isn't that surprising that similar style necklaces exist, however while Ursula's page suggests Margaret's version was made by Koch, the similar version being sold in the United States is made by Moritz Keller & Company and dates from 1906, so the year after Margaret married the future Swedish King.
I wonder whether they were inspired by Koch and Margaret or whether it was simply that similar styles of this necklace was very popular at that time.

Articles about the Swedish necklace - The style and design is near identical, although different stones are used.
