This ruby and diamond butterfly brooch was a wedding present from the Dowager Countess of Onslow in 1947.

This brooch isn't warn very often and I think this wearing has provided the best views of it.

I particularly like this brooch along with the Dutch emerald butterfly brooch which I think are both very beautiful and amongst my favourites.
