Thanks PaulP and to Beth. All that needs to happen now is for both brooches be again debuted by another senior royal lady. I'd love to see HM do a double with these peices but I believe HM is not inclined to do so. Seeing that they are versatile I wonder if the BRF may not consider a tiara to suite those stones.

I noticed that PaulP, one of the commentators on The Court Jeweller site, has identified an occasion in 1957 when QEQM looks to be wearing the two large sapphire brooches at once. One is as a brooch and the other is as a clasp to her pearls.
