Today @milsteinjewelry just posted on his Instagram a very intriguing photo of Princess Margrethe of Bourbon Parma (nee Denmark), mother of Queen Anne of Romania, wearing an impressive fringe tiara.

I know nothing about the provenance of this piece. Never seen Princess Margrethe wearing such a huge tiara. She usually borrowed jewels from her husband’s family (Bourbon Parma) and from her own family so I would say this one was also a loan. Anyone has more information about it?
