Today @milsteinjewelry just posted on his Instagram a very intriguing photo of Princess Margrethe of Bourbon Parma (nee Denmark), mother of Queen Anne of Romania, wearing an impressive fringe tiara.
I know nothing about the provenance of this piece. Never seen Princess Margrethe wearing such a huge tiara. She usually borrowed jewels from her husband’s family (Bourbon Parma) and from her own family so I would say this one was also a loan. Anyone has more information about it?

A very glamorous, regal and above all interesting photo of the Princess. I am very thrilled to see if it is possible to identify the Fringe tiara she is seen wearing. I must admit that I am having great difficulties in identifying all the different Fringe tiaras around, but I must agree with Knightship that it doesn't look like the one worn by Princess Viggo (though I also initially thought that this tiara might have been a contender).
