Lastly, can anyone comment on the many supposed pearl button brooches noted on Queen Alexandra’s shoulders, are they real or just make up jewels? If one also looks close you will also notice other colored stones also on the shoulders but encircled or enclosed by diamond borders. This dress has alot of details to it though.

Dave are you referring to the three pear shaped gems which can be seen near Queen Alexandra's waist? If so, they are two of the pear shaped pearls in the Dagmar necklace and the one on the Dagmar cross. Queen Alexandra wore the necklace as a bodice ornament for the coronation. It is so easy to get confused by the indistinct older photos.
