I guess their's a whole lot more gifts we will not hear about. I recall in the Diamond Jubilee it was reported that the Queen received many splendid gifts from foreign rulers, but there was no real detailed account all to the relative ambiguous yearly royal gift record. But I like the brooches seen though, they are simple yet beautiful.

Just saw a couple of posts on Twitter regarding two gifts made to Her Majesty for her Platinum Jubilee. You would think that she had already enough brooches but she now has (at least) two more to choose from:

They are lovely brooches and hopefully we will get to see them worn by Her Majesty once in a while.

She was also seen wearing what a blieve is yet another new brooch at the lighting of the Principal Beacon at Windsor Castle. Has anyone got any more information on that particular brooch?
