This modern emerald set of Queen Silvia is not one the Queen appears to wear very often. Maybe it's because it is rather "grand". It might very well be a Saudi gift, or a gift from any other Eastern (Middle or Far) ruler, or even a gift from her husband. Sadly I do not have any more information about the necklace, but it is always nice to see the Queen bring out the bling (which she does SO well).
