Thanks Kongetro for ur input. When I saw it, I thought it was just large and probably a Middle Eastern gift. Maybe someone else knows more about this set.

This modern emerald set of Queen Silvia is not one the Queen appears to wear very often. Maybe it's because it is rather "grand". It might very well be a Saudi gift, or a gift from any other Eastern (Middle or Far) ruler, or even a gift from her husband. Sadly I do not have any more information about the necklace, but it is always nice to see the Queen bring out the bling (which she does SO well).
