My questions are: Could have the Vladimir circle tiara with the windowed frames be one from the selection of tiara options put to the Duchess of Sussex?
I can't see the great Vlad being part of a selection of tiaras for a wedding tiara as it has been earmarked for a Queen Regnant or a Queen Consort to wear.
The only other emerald tiara I can recall in the Windsor collection is the surprise emerald and diamond tiara debuted by Princess Eugene at her wedding. The provenance of this tiara goes back to the renowned Margaret Greville.
Is it possible that the Greville emerald and diamond tiara was the one which is being spoken of, or is it possible that the Greville emerald and diamond tiara does have Russian provenance?
Does anyone have any information on any lost or noted/ renowned emerald and diamond tiaras once in the Russian Imperial family or Russian nobility families?
The tiara according to media sources is really beautiful and outstanding. I wonder if there is any information out there which could point to possible suspects as it relates to emerald and diamond tiaras?
Regards,
Dave.
