And I'm sure gifts are given by the monarch on his crowning/ coronation day to his nearest and dearest.
Maybe he gifted the ladies who attended to his Queen Cartier peices and his female relatives along with his Queen was in receipt of peices from said Cartier too.
Isn't it reported that Queen Alexandra had not one but 2 grand diamond necklaces from Cartier only seen in paintings and mostly gifts from said King Edward VII.
I don't know nor do I have other evidence but I'm sure this is not the first time I heard about this particular king collecting jewels on mass from Cartier.

I wasn't doubting your word.
I was questioning whether there is any evidence to support the claim that Edward VII purchased 27 tiaras.
So, the video does say that Edward VII purchased 27 tiaras.
But where is the evidence to support that statement?
I find it interesting that a photo of the Halo tiara was used.
That tiara was not purchased until 1936.
