It’s a Fitzwilliam heirloom, a rather unfortunate composition that would look better as a simple floral bandeau without the poorly balanced superstructure of brooch and earrings.

Sotheby’s described it as follows for their jubilee exhibition in 2022: “In naturalist taste, designed as a long spray of flowers, leaves and buds forming a half circle, the front surmounted by crossed leafy stems centred and flanked by flowers, detachable to be used as earrings and a brooch, set throughout with cushion-, pear-shaped and circular-cut diamonds, with a back chain for converting the tiara as a necklace, inner length approximately 322mm, length of back chain approximately 212mm.”
