Thanks DavoST, this is great news. Any thoughts anyone on the bracelets worn by the late QEQM and her daughter Princess Margaret the Countess of Snowdon in the pictures provided. I am sure the bracelet worn by the late QEQM on her left wrist looks like a peice turned into a choker or was it also on her wrist, i cant remember now but it was worn by Diana PoW at a past Opening of Parliament. I had queried about the peice which looked like a large flower with diamonds featured on Diana PoW and someone replied that they felt it may have been a borrowed piece. Regards, Dave. ![]() The King's two grand-daughters, Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret were presented the order in the silver jubilee year, 1935. Here the young princesses wear the Royal Family Orders of their father and grand-father at the 1937 Coronation HM Queen Elizabeth wearing her father and grand-father's orders, Canberra, 1954 HRH Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon, wearing the CI, and three royal family orders. Note the differences between thr size 1 of EII, size 2 of GVI and size three of GV ![]() The order was made by Garrard's in four sizes, and was distributed more widely than his father's. |
