If I'm to go by certain gossip and news reports, we will not get the jewels as we suspected at King Charles's coronation. This all if it is true signals the eventual windup of the British monarchy.

If they were really woke then I would have expected that a choice would have been given to guest to choose either day wear or other or specify that only Royals, Dukes, Earls and maybe Barons could wear tiaras with their other finery.

But then even if you did it that way, then what of persons who are private individuals who have in their possession tiaras or other to match the nobility jewels. It's all watered down.
