I am a newcomer, so please excuse this post if this topic has already been discussed. I am currently undertaking a small project cataloguing and researching British royal brooches. I have come across a brooch worn by Queen Mary that I cannot find any information on.

It seems to be a dark-colored stone surrounded by multi-colored gemstones. Does anyone have any info?
