Thanks PaulP for the video link. This does provide the best pictures, before this none of the photos were good enough to see the earrings. Even the exact name of the event I don't recall seeing before. As QEII often wore jewels given by her hosts I wonder if this set was given to her by the Royal Fathers of Nigeria.

This whole trip had lots of jewels never seen before or since, even on other royals. Combined with no high definition photos or information released by the palace I think it is one of the biggest mysteries.
