A stunning find as I know that photos of QEII on the Nigerian trip are scarce. I can see why Franck has thought of Queen Mary's necklace; yet, I agree with MarcA - the fringes look much finer and I think longer than those in Queen Mary's tiara. The jewels worn in Nigeria are a puzzle, so different from QEII's usual selection.
