I would love to see 19. The ruby, pearl and diamond tiara from Queen Victoria. And what of the other bandeau tiara formally in the collection of QM it looks something like the one worn by the Duchess of Sussex on her wedding day with a yellow tinged stone at its center (The Queen Mary Filligree Tiara). No mention of the Indian tiara bought by the late QM who returned it to the royal collection. No mention of the York tiara which I was made to understand was returned to the royal vaults after the divorce of Yorks. What of the Golden Kokosnic tiara given to QA as a gift, I believe we discussed it on here started by Beth and it came with a purure set of jewels. Regards, Dave. According to the Royal Collection site Queen Victoria had it slightly modified by the jewellers Kitching & Abud, possibly adding the seed pearls and the central pear shaped pearl. The tiara which used to be very much mistakenly called the filigree tiara is the one which the Duchess of Sussex wore as her wedding tiara with the County of Lincoln diamond wedding gift brooch in the centre. In some of the photos in circulation of Queen Mary wearing her Diamond Bandeau there appears to be a different central element. The list is impressive. I am not sure of what all the "Hair ornaments" in the 4th section are. I have no doubt that Mrs Greville would have had some jewelled hair ornaments, but it is possible that, by the time she died, these may have been used to create new jewels. I also strongly suspect that the tiara she was given on her marriage by her father was dismantled and the gems reused in one of her newer tiaras -- but of course that is just a guess.

As I understand it these items still remain personal property; they do not belong to the state.

I have some photos which I will upload and post later. From memory I think one time was for a meeting of Commonwealth Prime Ministers and another was for a French state visit.
