Same necklace on Silvia and Lilian? Posted by Eiriksn on March 15, 2020, 10:56 am I don’t think this has been discussed before. At least not on this board or the others I tend to follow. I recently came across a picture of princess Lilian of Sweden with a pearl necklace with a clasp that looked familiar. For me it seems to be a match with the necklace Queen Silvia wore a couple of years ago. The list of jewels left by Lilian did not mention all her pieces as far as I remember. What a great post! I apologise most sincerely that I did not welcome you when you initially posted just before Christmas. I meant to, but in the rush before Christmas, I inadvertently forgot -- much to my shame. This is a little known jewel. Do you have any suggestions as to what the coloured stones might be? " Thank you both😊 And a special thank you to Beth for this great message board. I think it is an amethyst, but the lighting makes it difficult to tell in some pictures. Maybe Lilian wore that sash on her dress to pick up the color of the stone? Just a suggestion. I have now idea about the smaller stones 😊

The necklace was worn by Queen Silvia at one of the Sweden Dinners as well.
