Empress Augusta Victoria of Germany Posted by Dave on January 22, 2021, 12:36 pm Just going over some pictures online already seen but noticed Empress Victoria in a lovely four leaf clover crown. What I also noticed are the other jewels and what stood out is a large oval brooch pinned at her bodice with what I suspect is a hanging pearl. It has been modified but still remains with the Royal Family. The Brooch was included in this catalogue on the Prussian Royal Jewels from 1913, though the text is in German. It was not altered later, there was another oval cluster brooch, part of her personal jewels, which was altered from her necklace, it was a cabochon.
