Tiaras at banquet tonight for new Lord Mayor of City of London Posted by Janet on November 16, 2021, 5:51 am The new Lord Mayor was installed at the weekend and he hosts a traditional banquet which took place tonight at the Guildhall in the presence of the Prime Minister and Archbishop of Canterbury. The Lord Mayor's wife and his predecessor's wife both wore tiaras. The current Lady Mayoress The previous Lady Mayoress - her husband served two 1 year terms as there was no new Lord Mayor in 2020 due to the pandemic.

Something about the tiara worn by the current Lady Mayoress doesn't look right to me. I wonder if it is just the light and the way the photo has been taken or is this a mismatch of pieces?
