Aluminum cans are always a hot commodity and if you leave them outside your casa, someone will take them and sell them for a few pesos.

Clean cardboard is used by the school garden.

Plastic bottles can be left in the various wire containers around town (there’s one near The Lab among others).

Carol López used to have an arrangement for glass bottles but I don’t know if that’s still going.
