We arrived two weeks ago and went to a dinner party hosted by friends. Two days after the event, the host wrote everyone saying one of the guests tested positive for COVID. My wife and I did as well. The current variant, JN.1, did not surface until September of last year and is not covered by the last version of vaccine.
We isolated for 10 days.
We were fortunate and had relatively mild symptoms, but are in good health and have strong immune systems. This may not be the case for others in our community.
