I can't count the times I have tried to use my smartphone to make a call and there was no cellular signal--from far down the beach, on the road to Melaque, on the road to PV etc. So if I ever need emergency assistance, I will try to use a landline or make absolutely sure that there is cell coverage where I am. Since we have been discussing ambulance dispatching, I think it's important to consider this factor.
