Ever since the arroyo was graded below sea water level there have been stagnant pools sitting for months after the rainy season just breeding with all sorts of yucky stuff!

And it doesn’t help that the water backs up from a dirt bridge that comes off of Boca del Rio going to Casa Magay! I have tried to get an answer from those involved in Magay about draining the lake behind it but to date, no response!

I know of at least 20 cases of local dengue so am sure there are more…and there has been no spraying that I am aware of this past season! This new rain will flush some of the pools but later with the backup we are going to have more problems and possible cases!

Let’s get this water moving out…under that new bridge!
