From my own experience, I was able to stop and start the service very easily, however, this year when I stop it, it might entail a cancellation of the account and a total start up next year, however I am looking at a on going annual service for security reasons. I am very pleased with the service and the speed, although it does vary a great deal and I am not sure why. Speed goes from 30 to 300 but still delivers good internet quality, far far better than anything previously provided.
