I then agree with you, that the contractors/builders that removed the Mother Nature boulders in the river in the first place (and who might continuing doing this now, unless there are no boulders left), ought to be the ones who ought to pay for the removal of the rocks/stones on the beach.
Examining the rocks/stones mounds on the beach, one can see many pieces of building material in it, concrete mainly, so man made stuff, that has now ended up on the beach, via the ocean first.
Did anyone bring up the issue of how to prevent more boulder/riverbed removal from the river? I pass over the yellow bridge frequently and often see heavy machinery in the river bed. For years now…
To me, IF this most likely illegal practice of removing Mother Nature material from the river, continues, then what is the point of removing the rocks on the beach in the first place? It is just going to come more, continue each season, and come November 2026, we will be just where we started…
