Two years ago, my 10kg Mexi-mutt was the victim of an unprovoked attack and was severely beaten up by a (I'm sorry to say) pitbull in my neighbourhood. I posted as a warning and also reported to the delegado who took immediate action.
The pittie has subsequently been confined and lives her life on the 2nd floor of the residence. She never sets foot on the earth (except when she escapes, as she does from time to time).
I repost this, Patrick as another voice to encourage you to take action. I'll never forget Izzie's bleeding little body and Abram's careful attention to her wounds.
My heart goes out to this imprisoned pitt as she is a victim of her upbringing, but we need to look after our own dogs and to do what we can to ensure the safety of our neighouring dogs and our neighouring humans.
