HELP, PLEASE!

Sorta old and pretty much blind person needs English/Spanish-speaking help with Banamex Bancanet help-centerphon call. They talk too fast and use too many words I don't understand. Thanks!

Not even with spanish been first lenguage, I can't get thru, I recomend going to the sucursal. I spend 6 hrs to get someone on the phone and they couldn't help, they wanted me to go to the sucursal, but I was in Canada so we couldn't do anythig. So good luck you are gonna need it.

But you do speak Spanish, right? Go to Banamex in Melaque in the early afternoon and ask to speak to Jessica, whose desk is the middle one on the left. Don't go on a Monday or the 15th or 30th of the month, when remittances arrive. I went in with two pages of questions because the phone service is useless, and Jessica was very helpful. I think you have a car. I had to take the bus, but it was worth it. Buena suerte.

Gracias, Lynn. I can speak Spanish well enuf, but am losing my ability to understand it. So I have no clue what they're asking/telling me. Therein lies the problem! I've dealt with Jessie before, but I hoped to avoid going to that cursed branch. SIGH!

But what sucursal will you go to instead? I could understand everything Jessica said, but some gringos who were next had their Google Translate app open. They must have communicated by passing their phone back and forth to Jessica. Tedious, for sure, but their plan seemed to be working.

And I'm curious if anyone else has this issue:
I did go to the branch because I was locked out of Bancanet.. Apparent.y ican access it only on my cell phone. To access it from my tab,et, as I have done forever, now requires using their NetKey (a tedious, not vision-impaired friendly device). One day it works, next day it doesn't. Twenty-five years here and Mexican logic still escapes me!

I can't use the app, Bancanet, or my NetKey at all so I registered to receive notifications of every transaction as an email to my computer and an SMS to my phone. No failures yet. You have suffered Mexican Frustrations for one more year than me.

My patience to deal with them has markedly diminished in the past few years, for sure.

If it makes you feel any better, even my Mexican landlords throw up their hands in despair!
