Cruz suggested we gather to support those in Minnesota fighting back against the oppression from ICE. In my opinion, its quite a stretch that this would be construed as intervening in Mexico’s political affairs. I asked ChatGPT what it thinks about foreigners protesting in Mexico. In case the link doesn’t open, it says the following are generally tolerated:
1. Peaceful demonstrations about foreign governments or international issues.
2. Protests focused on human rights, war, climate, or global causes.
3. Gatherings that do not involve Mexican political parties, elections or policies.

There’s no guarantee of anything, of course, but a few of us holding signs is not going to disrupt the status quo here. Already
doing the things you suggested Jim but its not enough. Free speech is important. As long as its allowed…I’m in!

Thank you Cruz and you who suggested getting permission.

Peaceful & proactive, standing up for human rights, I for one greatly appreciate the idea of gathering with like minded people, being clear that we do not condone the horrors that are currently happening in USA as well as other areas in the world.

I shall work on a placard that among other things, expresses my appreciation for the warm welcome we receive here in this beautiful village.

Thank you, thank you & thank you
