How am I “ripping on players”? I think they are all very talented and hard working.
Back to Jori Heard. OMG, she is terrific and always has been. Regarding her Wasco days she played for SG and they had a terrific team for a few years. She did not magically turn into a SCarolina pitcher because she pitched that weekend for the Chill. She was good enough for SCarolina the previous weekend, but the SCarolina Coach did not know it because of bias. Neither the Chill or Wasco made her a great pitcher. She made herself a great pitcher. Let’s see if that can translate to more wins for SCarolina. I think she was their #4 last season.
The current 18U Chill team has 3 or 4 girls going to B10 and at least 1 going to ACC. I think 2 of the B10 girls will struggle as well as the ACC player. I think these girls got to the B10 and ACC only because the name on the jersey said Chill! I think there are better players in this state.
