OP said “overrated”, which would presume some type of published or calculated rating - or at least substantial public pronouncements about the superiority of the conference. I’ve not been aware of either, thus the query.

So is it:

(1) DuKane is less competitive than prior years?
(2) DuKane is not as good as other conferences this year?
(3) DuKane is improperly ranked (by… ?)
(4) DuKane is not as comparatively competitive compared to other conferences this year compared to prior years?

Or maybe it’s just a hater, hating!
