We could always impose a luxury tax on lessons over $80 and redistribute the proceeds to families priced out of the market.

Of course, that’d just shift the curve — instructors would teach less, scarcity would rise, and prices would climb higher anyway.

Alternatively, we could set a price cap. That’d solve everything… except the part where supply disappears.
