In SOFTBALL, high school coaches usually do not do much. There is not enough time, they work with what is given to them (public) or who they recruit (private). If you think otherwise, I am sorry to say, but you are very wrong.
Most cannot even coach a recreational little league team.
In softball athletes get recruited in the travel ball world.
