Missed calls aren't a BUG in the game, they are a FEATURE!
Per StatCast, ball/strike accuracy in MLB is 88%. That means about a dozen calls are missed per game. And those are men (and women) who are professionals - and who aren't having to watch the zone and the batters box simultaneously!
Thankfully, umpires are right much more often than not. And when they're not... welcome to the injustice of the real world, princess!
Bring up your corners. Spin the ball. Get a more agile catcher. But quit soaking your blouse with tears about slapping.
