Unfortunately it doesn’t work like that . The HC’s job is to win while appeasing the players and the AD. Are there some schools that LET the HC handle it…. Yes but the bigger schools and the private schools definitely to not. Reputation is a huge factor in HS athletics. That needs to change as today’s youth are soft and entitled…. Not just softball. College is a rude awakening for some parents and players for this very reason. The parents need to look their little princess in the eye the next time she complains and say… suck it up, if you can’t take this heat you’re not ready for college. The parents can make this season a winning one……LC has the players and the coach.
