Definitely different paths to satisfaction, no single path is correct. The issue for us was that when she was given an opportunity to play against the very best, it was difficult to turn down. While the amount of money spent was certainly meaningful, we had the means to make it happen without significantly impacting the family. Was it worth it? Not sure from a "softball sense" but she had great experiences.
