I love that they actually hired a real coach, instead of teachers who don't know what they are doing , and can cause negatives for these players. Some of these teachers are probably good , but many of them , the stubborn ones who think they know what they are doing unfortunately can really harm these kids development physically and mentally.
It's unfortunate that softball is treated like this where they just bring in a "body" to coach softball, whereas with Football coaches, they really look for "football coaches" not just, hey, do you wanna coach softball? and they have no idea what they are doing, but it's more money for them and it's 2 1/2 months of overtime.
That being said, I wonder how much a school like STL can even pay for a softball coach like Abby to get her to go there?
