College Coaches Following

Do college coaches follow the travel coach or the organization? Meaning if a Bandit/Chill/IP, etc. If a Bandit/Chill/IP, etc. travel coach with a solid reputation moved to, or started, a new organization, would the same coaches give credibility to their opinion?

My daughter is in college already playing ball. But her coaches (Head/Asst) follow both orgs and coaches. It seems to me the school has a pipeline of preferred travel teams and coaches they pull from. My kid was an exception to that rule. (Luckily)

Strangely enough, one would have better luck getting recruited by the assistant coach as opposed to the head coach. Following the the school softball page (X) would be useless.

Just sharing some tidbits from her experience.

I agree on the Ass't Coach comment. I think a lot of interest starts with the specific Ass't; Pitching, Hitting Coach, and then gets confirmed by the Head Coach. Don't forget the rostered players working school camps either, their opinion can help as well.

I think it would probably depend on the success "their" kids had for said college coach. There's a certain security with knowing the quantity of talent that would consider playing for a high-level team over a one-off hand-picked roster, no matter who the coach is.
