Scam Artist

As I’m sure most of you know, the Wildcats 14U team blew up a few weeks back. It seemed as though the whole thing was orchestrated out of spite by the HC and KB to pocket the remaining funds in the budget. Found out from previous year’s (14U MH, 14U JL) team members that a similar situation occurred whereby threats of not being able to play in the upcoming tournament were used to force immediate payments of all monies owed. As soon as funds are paid, the team implodes and all money is not refunded.

Per 501(c)3 laws, all remaining unused funds are to be returned to the families yet this has not happened. Come to find out, the franchise fees were not being paid by KB to Dan Hay for at least two months which jeopardized the team’s ability to continue to play under the Wildcats banner.

I am posting this to warn all softball families of the degeneracy of KB and the Wildcats organization. Buyer Beware.

I disagree.Hull and KY if you mean KathyYoung in particular I found to be solid coaches and people over 13 years I interacted with them with my four daughters. The other 75 coaches they had? Eh. Yes some were scam artists. Some self serving only looking out for their own kid or pocketbook. Even those I thought were friends were playing me. KY actually helped all of my daughters as did Conroy. Good luck to you all!

They did not have a 501 3c. The number they used on their paperwork goes back to OC Batbusters.

Yes, previously the Chicago Batbusters, who threw a tantrum about the Indiana Batbusters, then becoming wildcats. I can't remember who they were before that.

Before you were the Indiana Batbusters you were the Outsiders. Now that you pay big money to the OC Batbusters to use their name how's that going? a lot of P4 D1 commits in NWI? or wherever else you sold the name in Indiana. Don't answer I seen your commits page.

Any team can get you to D2,D3, JUCO or NAIA. It takes the big boys Bandits, IMG, IP, or Cheetas to get you to the bigs around here.

You meant Chill right not cheetahs? And considering there were ladies in the WCWS this year who played for the likes of the Wasco Diamonds and other lesser known teams, you can make a case that while the name on the jersey matters the performance on the diamond matters more.

Again it’s spelled Chill. Let’s try this differently, you add up all the D1 commits from Chill in say the last 5 years to keep the sample reasonable. Then do the same with your cheetahs and post the numbers. Look at the number of D1 players from the midwest area over the last 5 years and I’m sure you will find girls that played for teams without Chill or Bandits on their jerseys. I believe that I saw a player in the WCWS played for the Wasco Diamonds, no I am not knocking the diamonds here I am offering that as an example that any team including your cheetahs can present A success story but it’s a big leap to then place them on the same level as a Chill or Bandits organization.

I’ve seen many D1 coaches around “the others.” Bottom line is your DD has to perform when the time is right. If that doesn’t happen. I don’t care who you play for, you ain’t going D1 just on someone’s word.
