I dont know where the good Gators teams are but it's not nwi. I have seen a couple of those teams play.

That’s strange, years ago when my DD worked out @ the Great Lakes Sports Hub there was a softball team by that same name the also made the Hub their winter home. I thought they were a local B team from Crown Point. But I suppose a simple phone call to either the Indiana BB or the OC BB would clear up the confusion.

The family that owns the Batbusters are on their way out and seem to be handing their organization to a travel baseball org.

Most of the teams in NWI are B level dad coached teams. Go to Michigan City on a weekend, and watch all the bright unis, bad softball.

Its a real shame nobody can put together a national level team in NWI. There are a ton of talented players that travel far to play for top teams.

Sox are a good Regional org but not on a national stage. This is the type of org 95% of girls should be striving to playing for. They do get young ladies in the local D2,D3,NAIA colleges with an occasional mid major. Rick knows the orgs bread and butter is this and plays local tournaments. Why travel to Colorado and play on fields 15 miles from the main fields? Other organizations should follow his example. But the region has nothing for the top 5% which is a shame.

Well, maybe that's how it started out. The bottom line is you can rent uniforms from a national level program, gain access to tournaments, but you're still the team you were beforehand.

The support they are given is a visit from Stith a couple times a year, and a practice layout. But, zero tangible help in the area of recruiting. Which is really the big draw.

It's my opinion that the franchise model has completely failed the Indiana Batbusters.

Please explain the tangible assistance you are looking for in the area of recruiting?
Are you referencing recruiting players to join teams on your IBB organization?
Or
Are you referencing getting players recruited to college?

It would seem that with the first part it’s more of a long game.
The goal being to establish the organization in the area first by drawing quality coaches to the fold who can spot talent, convince that talent to join their team and coach the talent thus making the name respected in the region.

The first part will most certainly help with the second part of recruiting the players to college.

Let me know Ii I’m incorrect in understanding what you saying.

They were not a national team. The were a good regional team. Now, what about the rest of the organization?
