Impact Caymol tourney- 6 games in one day?!!

The schedule just came out for the Impact Caymol tournament. There are 12 teams in this 14u tournament. It is the only age division in the tournament. The Tournament is advertised as 3 days, Fri-Sun. Instead, it was someone's brilliant idea to have all 12 teams play the entire tournament in one day. Obviously, not all teams will play 6 games in one day but 2 of them will and some will play 5 games...in one day. Will all of the teams have a pitching staff deep enough to play that many games in one day? Most likely not. Half of the teams will arrive at 6:45AM, play 3 games in the morning and then have a 2-game break. The other half will play their pool games in the afternoon and one of those teams will be playing 6 GAMES IN A ROW. If one of the morning teams win all of their pool and bracket games, they will have a championship game at 6PM, they will be there for over 12 hours and have played 6 games. Thats IF, a big IF, the games start on time. Games are 90 minutes apart, so unless the games are 70 minutes finish the inning, how will they begin on time? This is FALL BALL... for 14 YEAR OLDS. What is IMPACT trying to prove by doing this?

That schedule is pretty brutal. Not going is actually some solid advice. Lots of tournaments offered that weekend.

Remember, they won't be able to run tournaments like that for long. The teams that played it this year probably won't return to play in it next year.

Speaking of next year, do we know what name these guys picked out for the 26/27 season yet?

Maybe with a bit more "grinding" they will finally polish that turd.

Next year I think k they’ll go back to stallions but hey maybe they’ll double down and change their name to

Just another franchise team organizing tourneys going rogue while the real Impact teams are in the south.

Saves money on field rentals if you only do a one day tournament.
