I wouldn't dismiss it like ScottLocklin but it's not the way toward human immortality. I'll reread Locklin again as you pointed to but my first reaction is that he's "too" dismissive. After all, there are autonomous vehicles on the roadways right now and Google can answer questions pretty good. AI is real... but it's not the way forward for our own immortality was my point. I might as well re-state my latest thesis for you: Quantum reality is the way forward for the human mind as explained by Doug Matzke whose information I've forwarded to Mike Perry. I'm reviewing Mike's Forever for All in light of Matzke to compare. AI is in fact a real danger, as dangerous as as driverless cars which I've lately seen go by my house, terrifying me.
